Being a makeup artist, one of the happiest moments is getting a call from family and friends of a bride from a past wedding.
Vicki, this natural beauty, was referred by her sister Erica whom I had to honour to meet many years ago.
I was over the moon when Vicki asked if I still do wedding makeup for brides.
I do - even though I took some time off in the interim due to family and other matters, looking after brides still being a passion of mine after all these years.
Early on in our conversations, Vicki told me that she does not normally wear makeup.
In fact, most of my brides do not normally wear makeup.Ā I know that my style really resonates with these naturally beautiful ladies.
Here is the final styling we came up with, emphasising the comfort, authenticity and glamour.

Bridesmaid and mum's makeup have been created by Desi from Faces Makeup & HairĀ to complement the natural glamour theme.Ā
In particular, for mums who are not used to the feeling of layers of makeup and intense colours on their skin, it is our priority to make them feel absolutely comfortable on such a happy and important day.

Thank you so much to Vicki, Erica and your bridal party for entrusting this important job in my hands.Ā Desi, thank you for your help on the wedding day :)
