I began my makeup career with formal training at the Academy of Makeup, followed by hair styling training at Showface Studio. From there, I built my experience in the beauty industry working as a makeup artist at Mecca Cosmetica, where I had the opportunity to work alongside international artists from brands such as NARS and Stila —brands I still love for their artistry and innovation.
My path then led me into the bridal world, where I worked in a well-known bridal boutique as a bridal consultant. It was here that I discovered how much I love being part of a bride’s journey — not just the styling, but the emotion, preparation, and meaning behind the day itself.
Combining my skills in makeup, hair, and bridal styling, I started freelancing extensively and collaborated with other talented artists across Sydney.
In 2012, I founded the award-winning team Faces makeup and Hair, which has since grown into one of Sydney’s most trusted and sought-after bridal hair and makeup teams.
My approach to bridal beauty
My philosophy is simple: you should look like the most elevated version of yourself on your wedding day — not someone else entirely.
I specialise in creating soft, natural, and timeless bridal makeup that enhances your features rather than masking them. Brides often come to me looking for a flawless yet lightweight base, and a look that feels fresh, elegant, and effortlessly polished in person and in photographs.
I am particularly known for creating a complexion that looks just like real skin — smooth, refined, and comfortable to wear all day. My brides often describe my style as fresh, clean, and timeless, and I take great pride in achieving makeup that feels as good as it looks.
Beyond beauty
Alongside my work in beauty, I hold a Doctorate in Biological Sciences from the University of Sydney, and a Juris Doctor from UNSW. While these achievements sit outside the beauty industry, they reflect the same discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence that I bring to every bride I work with.
