There’s something incredibly special about continuing our 2026 blog journey by celebrating new life. A new year always feels full of promise, and sharing stories like this makes it even more meaningful.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of doing makeup and hair for Mel’s maternity shoot, and it was one of those beautiful full-circle moments that quietly reminded me why I love what I do.

From bridal to maternity

I first met Mel years ago when I did her bridal makeup and hair. Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle, and this time, I found myself helping her glow in an entirely new chapter: motherhood.

For this maternity shoot, my approach was the same philosophy I bring to all my work: enhancing natural beauty, keeping things timeless, and making sure my client feels comfortable, confident, and completely herself. Mel looked radiant, calm, strong, and glowing in that way only an expectant mum can be.

Captured by Joe at Orpico 📸

The shoot was beautifully captured by Joe from Orpico, who also happens to be a dear friend of mine. I’m especially grateful to Joe because he was the one who originally connected Mel and me all those years ago; a connection that’s now led to this very special moment.

Joe has an incredible eye for emotion and light, and every image from this shoot reflects the love, anticipation, and warmth surrounding Mel and Dat as they prepare to welcome their little one.

So much love for this growing family

Joe and I are both beyond happy for Mel and Dat. It’s been such a joy to be part of different milestones in Mel’s life, and I truly can’t wait to meet the newest member of their family.

This shoot wasn’t just another booking. It was a reminder of how meaningful it is to be invited into life’s most important moments, whether it’s a wedding day, a maternity shoot, or something in between.

Welcoming 2026 with gratitude & beauty

As I welcome 2026, I feel incredibly grateful — for the amazing clients I get to work with, the talented team at Faces Makeup & Hair, and the trust people place in us to look after them on such special days.

From bridal makeup and hair to maternity shoots, photoshoots, and special events, my team and I are passionate about creating looks that feel effortless, timeless, and true to you.

Bookings Now Open for 2026

If you’re planning a 2026 wedding, maternity shoot, or have any upcoming event where you want to feel your absolute best, bookings are now open. Dates do fill quickly, especially for weddings, so I always recommend enquiring early.

Thank you, Mel, for trusting me once again. Starting 2026 with your story feels like the perfect way to begin the year — with love, beauty, and new beginnings.

I’d love to be part of your story too. 💛

Marking milestones like new life frames narrative continuity and audience engagement, emphasizing the symbolic and practical significance of recurring themes. Structured reflection enhances connection and perspective. Much like integrating The Pokies into a controlled framework, meaningful impact relies on consistent implementation and alignment across the broader system rather than isolated moments.

Marking a new calendar cycle through stories of birth frames continuity as deliberate rather than incidental. The emphasis on renewal signals how narrative milestones anchor audience engagement over time. Much like embedding https://csebcc.org/ Pay ID within evolving https://payid.com.au systems, meaning accrues when recurring themes are integrated into a broader, sustained journey.

Framing a new year through stories of birth highlights how narrative cycles mirror calendar transitions, reinforcing themes of renewal and continuity. While the sentiment centers on promise, the broader implication is about audience connection and shared milestones. In distribution spaces shaped by Royal Reels such personal markers often function as anchors within ongoing digital storytelling arcs.
