My winter treat sheet

Updated: Jul 13, 2020

The cold season seemed to have come around quite early this year. Bubba started daycare a few months ago and she has been bringing all the bugs and germs home, making this winter even worse than it already is.

Here are some of my treats to make this winter less miserable :)

L'Occitane Shea Intensive Hand Balm

The original L'Occitane shea hand cream is great, but I am welcoming the extra 5% shea butter (25% VS 20%) with open arms (hands).

NARS Softening Milk Cleanser

So excited to finally got my hands on some NARS skincare to try. In the mornings I'll be switching from a gel cleanser to this less drying milk cleanser.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules

These ceramide capsules can easily make their way to any of my lists all year round, but the oil-serum texture feels particularly nourishing in winter.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque

Another product that I have been using all year round, but it's a special "treat" because it is... expensive! Winter gives me an excuse to use it more often.

Dermalogica C-12 Pure Bright Serum

An unusual one to have on a winter list. I have been fighting pregnancy pigmentation since, well, pregnancy. With winter I am hoping that the aggravating sun factor is less damaging and so my brightening products can show a bigger effect. Let's see how I go with this one.

Dr Hauschka Blackthorn Toning Body Oil

Without realising this oil is specifically designed to prevent stretch marks, I have been using this every winter for a few years because it warms up when massaged into the skin. A real treat to use after shower.
