Who is Dr Morita?
From what I gathered, there wasn't a person called Dr Morita. But "Dr Morita" is one of the most prominent brands in Taiwanese beauty. The whole Korean / Japanese beauty trend is getting so much traction, but I'd say Taiwanese beauty is underrated (or simply overlooked). Because of its geographic proximity to both Korean and Japanese, the basis of how the products work are very similar. I think the technology of Taiwanese beauty is still tracking slightly behind Korean beauty, but definitely ahead of many other mainstream brands. What's really attractive about Taiwanese beauty is the affordability and value. You can easily find Taiwanese sheet masks online for about $2 each, and around $1 each (or less) if you are able to acquire them locally. The quality is amazing, and I prefer to use them over many (so many) sheet masks in the Australian market at the $5-$30 range.
Dr Morita's range of sheet masks is so big that it is confusing (there are at least 3 different types of hyaluronic acid masks alone). Pictured above are the ones that I have used at least a box of.
Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask
This is Dr. Morita's best selling mask. The Chinese texts by and large say that this is the third generation water-retention formula, using high quality hyaluronic acid and collagen from Japan.
I really enjoy using this mask. It is fully saturated with essence and there is always so much excess left in the packet. As to the mask tissue itself, running into a risk of over generalisation the technology for Taiwanese mask fabric seems to be still a little bit behind Korean's. Korean masks seem thinner and contour seamlessly. But this one from Dr Morita is nevertheless quite soft, comfortable and contours the skin well. If anything I think the eyes and mouth cut-outs are a bit small for me but I would rather have more skin coverage than not enough coverage.
My skin feels super plumped after using the mask for 20 minutes. I love to use it in the bed just before I sleep. On most days I top it up with some ceramides and then a moisturiser to seal everything in afterwards.
It is an excellent hyaluronic mask to give my skin a hydration boost.

Moisturizing Facial Mask Anti-Oxidant
To be honest, the Moisturizing Facial Mask Anti-Oxidant feels just like the Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask above. The ingredients are also very similar, with additional algae extract and cucumber extract. If I get a blind test I would not be able to tell at all.
(In these pictures the mask sheets look like they have different thickness but they are the same. I moved house so the lighting is not the same in the different bedrooms.)
Come in a box of 8. So from a price point perspective, I prefer the Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask above (box of 10) above, and each box is also slightly cheaper.

Active Enzyme Brightening Facial Mask
This is my favourite. The Enzyme Brightening Masks contain an insane variety of ferment filtrates. Ferment filtrates are extensively used in Korean beauty products for decades because they contain nutrients that the skin needs, many believe that the fermentation process helps break down some of the bigger molecules just enough for easier absorption. Although I do not completely understand the science of it (like how do you know the broken down molecules are still useful... at a molecular level?) I definite know my skin loves all types of fermented ingredients (incl. Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair). My skin is noticeably brighter and more radiant after using these masks. They are very hydrating too.
Ingredients feature: 6 different types of Lactobacillus, Saccharomyces and Galactobacter ferment filtrates, niacinamide, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid, squalane, papain.

Black Pearl Whitening Essence Facial Mask
Black Pearl powder has been used in skincare (especially traditionally) for centuries. I still remember my mum ingesting pearl powder for "beauty" purposes which I of course didn't understand how or why. So it turns out that pearls are rich in amino acids, minerals and antioxidants. So it make sense that it would have some sort of benefit on skin.
I have been resisting "whitening" products for the longest time (I don't want a white face!), but after the whole box have been used my face had not turned white! The word "whitening" in skincare is almost a synonym of "brightening", with only very few exceptions.
There is not one Dr Morita mask that I don't like, but this is probably my least favourite. Don't get me wrong, it is still a jolly good mask but just not as outstanding as others. This mask has a stronger "chemical" scent than the others, and while it is still very hydrating, I am not entirely sold on the "whitening" (or brightening) claim... It is still great and I would use it on any day. But comparatively to the other masks, it is not my first choice.

Six Essence Hyalluronic Acid Deep Whitening & Firming Eye Mask
Dr Jou is a sister brand of Dr Morita. Six Essence Hyaluronic Acid Deep Whitening & Firming Eye Masks are so BIG, that they are basically half-face masks. As an eye mask, the design makes so much sense, as it covers the outer corner of the eyes (where crow's feet starts) and the whole area between eyes and brows (this is where I am starting to lose "lift").
Before applying the mask, I prime my skin with excess serum. There is enough in the packet to use on the whole face. After applying the mask the only option is to close my eyes, lie down and relax. The cut-outs are so small that it wouldn't be possible to keep my eyes open. I use it for 15 minutes and then just apply my ceramides and eye cream/moisturiser (skipping essence and serums in my usual routine) to seal everything in.
I really like how hydrating the milky serum feels on my skin. Because the mask is so big I feel my whole face has been hydrated. My complexion looks more radiant and plumped the next day. I am going to use these between my (face) sheet mask days. I have a lot of sheet masks with clear serum (instead of milky serum) more so these milky eye masks are a good compliment.
Ingredients feature: hydrolised hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, betaine, squalane, vitamin E, plant extracts, palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 (matrixyl 3000), dipeptide-2.
